Earlier this year the Black Crowes invited fans to join them at Levon Helm Studios while they recorded a new album. As it turns out, the Crowes had enough material for two discs. Before the Frost… is set for a September 1 release and will offer 11 songs including ‘Good Morning Captain,’ ‘I Aint Hiding’ and ‘Houston Dont Dream About Me.’ Folks who purchase the disc will be given a download code for a second release, Until The Freeze, which presents nine songs, eight originals and a cover of Stephen Stills’ ‘So Many Times.’ The band will gig steadily this summer, with their next gig at New Hampshire’s Hampton Beach Casino on June 18.
