The Odd Meters are a North Carolina duo that features Jon Morrow on 8-string guitar and Shane Parreco on drums and vibraphone. The pair have drawn in a number of notable guests for their new studio recording, Uncommon Denominator with Jeff Sipe adding drums and Kofi Burbridge contributing keys to the release. Uncommon Denominator is rounded out by Mike Seal (Jeff Coffin’s Mu’tet) on guitar, Stephen K. Wilson, (Director of the Jazz Department at Brevard College) on trombone and Jason Maloney on percussion. Morrow and Parreco will perform Odd Meters gigs over the next few nights in their home base of Brevard, North Carolina.
