As previously reported, the Younger Brother live band will hit the road for an East Coast tour next week. The group has now confirmed that Young Brother masterminds Shpongle (Simon Posford) and Prometheus (Benji Vaughan) will also deliver solo sets at each of the groups East Coast stops. Posford and Vaughan formed Younger Brother in 2000 for a charity studio track benefiting Survival International. The groups early shows used computer equipment to mix the duos tracks live on stage, but the musicians began playing instruments onstage in 2007 with Ruu Campbell supplying lead vocals. The groups current live band also includes Marc Brownstein, Joe Russo and Tom Hamilton.

The Younger Brother live band will make stops in New York (7/9), Baltimore (7/10) and Philadelphia (7/11), before closing its run at Mariaville, NYs Camp Bisco on July 17. Brownstein, Russo and Hamilton are also slated to appear on the next Younger Brother album.
