Panjea’s Chris Berry will begin a tour next week with a new, yet familiar collection of players. His longtime foil Michael Kang will perform as a member of the Chris Berry Trio. In addition, the Brazilian Girls’ Jesse Murphy and Aaron Johnston will round out the group, which, yes, does seem to have four members. Johnson and Kang previously appeared together as members of Comotion back in 2000 along with Jeff Sipe, Darol Anger, Mike Marshall, Paul McCandless and Tye North. The CB3 will open their West Coast run with a Seva Benefit at The Vets Hall in Santa Cruz on July 15 and wrap things up on the 21st in Sebastopol at Aubergine.
