Both Lollapalooza and All Points West have confirmed replacement acts for the Beastie Boys co-headlining set. As previously reported, the trio recently cancelled its entire tour and pushed back the release of its album after Adam MCA Yauch was diagnosed with cancer. The groups summer tour included appearances at several festivals, including Chicagos Lollapalooza, Jersey City, NJs All Points West and San Franciscos Outside Lands. Lollapalooza has recently confirmed that indie rockers the Yeah Yeah Yeahs will step in for the Beastie Boys, while All Points West has nabbed hip-hop icon Jay-Z for his first U.S. festival announcer (the rapper hit the European festival circuit last summer). Fellow All Points West performers MGMT are also slated to appear on Jay-Zs upcoming _ The Blueprint 3_ project.
