After not recording for nearly seven years, Rusted Root has returned with a new album and a tour to follow this September. Stereo Rodeo, the groups first studio album since 2002s Welcome to My Party, was released in May of this year. The group has a number of tour dates lined up, including August 8 at the Naukabout at the Barnstable County Fairgrounds in Cape Cod, MA, a stop at Prospect Point State Park in Niagra Falls, NY, and a run of shows beginning on September 12 in Asbury Park, NJ and ending on September 26 in Hartford, CT.

The new album features original members Michael Glabicki (lead vocals, guitar), Liz Berlin (vocals, percussion), and Patrick Norman (vocals, bass, percussion), who are joined by Jason Miller (drums, percussion), Colter Harper (guitar), Preach Freedom (percussion) and Dirk Miller (guitar). They have been playing festivals since the release of the album, and will continue to play into the next year, which will be a celebration of their 20th anniversary. Report by Kevin Hunter
