The annual Mulberry Mountain Harvest Music Festival to Ozark, AR this past weekend. The multi-band festival featured a number of jambands and roots-rocks acts, including Umphrey’s McGee, The Avett Brothers, Nitty Gritty Dirt Band,

Railroad Earth, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Lotus, Tea Leaf Green, Peter Rowan,
Split Lip Rayfield, Hot Buttered Rum, Travelin’ McCourys and
The Duhks, among others. Though several musicians sat in with each other throughout the weekend, Railroad Earth took home the weekends collaboration award. During Hot Buttered Rums set, multi-instrumentalist Andy Goessling sat in on both Beneath The Blossoms and In These Parts. Likewise, Railroad Earths Tim Carbone played guitar with Tea Leaf Green on Incandescent Devil and fiddle with the group on a cover of Bob Dylans Positively 4th Street. The New Jersey-bred band also invited out some guests during its own performances: Cornmeal fiddler Allie Kral appeared on Little Bit O’ Me on Friday and both Kral and Hot Buttered Rums Aaron Redner sat in on Reuben’s Train on Thursday. The group also had the pleasure of playing with festival performer and bluegrass legend Peter Rowan a few weeks earlier at Floyd Fest.
