On September 2, Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey will begin two months of cross-country touring. The quartet will start things up in their home state of Oklahoma with a show in Norman at the Deli. JFJO will then head out west before routing to the Northeast and then back to the middle of the country. This tour will help support the band’s new EP One Day In Brooklyn which hits on September 1 and is the first offering from the current group, which features pianist Brian Haas, drummer Josh Raymer, lap steel guitarist Chris Combs and upright bassist Matt Hayes. The final confirmed show is on Halloween night in Kansas City, MO at Jardine’s.
