Caribbean Holidaze has announced its music schedule along with some of the activities that will accompany the music proper. The event will return to the Jamaican resorts of Hedonism III and Breezes Runaway Bay on December 10-14, with music from such artists as The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey’s McGee, The New Deal, Perpetual Groove, Lipp Service, Omega Moos, and solo performances from ALO’s Dan Lebowitz and Perpetual Groove’s Brock Butler. Activities include a bus trip to the Marley Museum, hosted by Disco Biscuits’ bassist Marc Brownstein, which will include stops at the birthplace and final resting place of Bob Marley. In addition, the Biscuits’ Allen Aucoin and Umphrey’s drummer Kris Myers will partake in a steel workshop from local musicians that will draw in attendees as well. A limited number of rooms remain for Caribbean Holidaze 2009, with the full details at the website.
