Fresh off summer appearances at High Sierra Music Festival and The Taste of Chicago, Chicago-based “Lubriphonic“http://www.lubriphonic.com/ has announced a busy fall tour schedule with runs though the Midwest, West Coast and East Coast. Also included are appearances at the Telluride Blues and Brews Festival on September and, of particular note, the East Wind Festival in New Dehli, India in October.

Lubriphonic features a cast of six musicians, including a three-piece horn section, and “fuses roots music with explosive rock n roll and sensuous old school dance music—part Stones, part Funkadelic and part Otis Redding.” While on tour, the band is also recording tracks for its next release, The Gig is On.
