Phish Confirms Festival 8 Schedule, Acoustic Set at the "Crack of Noon"
Phish has confirmed its music schedule for Festival 8. The band will play eight sets over the course of the three-day event: 7 and 10 PM sets Friday, 3, 7:30 and 10 PM sets Saturday and noon, 5:30 and 8:30 PM sets Sunday. The group’s 7:30 PM Saturday set will include a cover of another band’s album, while the Vermont Quartet’s self-proclaimed “crack of noon” performance on Sunday will be an acoustic set. The latter performance will be Phish’s first full-length acoustic set, though the band has included acoustic interludes at past performances and played shortened acoustic sets at the Bridge School Benefit in 1998. Coffee and donuts will be served.
