Rebirth Brass Band will celebrate New Year’s Eve at New York’s Sullivan Hall. The group will play an early show with doors at 8:30 PM and a late show with doors at 1:30 AM that we be the first gig of 2010 at the club. The group is the third New Orleans group to play the club on New Year’s Eve in a row following Trombone Shorty in 2008 and Big Sam’s Funk Nation in 2007 (who officially transitioned the club from the Lion’s Den to Sullivan Hall on December 31, 2007). This evening Bonerama’s residency at the venue will continue with special guest George Porter Jr. Meanwhile, Rebirth Brass Band will perform at New Orleans’ Lafayette Square.
