Soulive in suits on their Blue Note debut

The three members of Soulive have pulled their suits out of mothballs for a tenth anniversary tour that opened on Thursday West in Chester, PA. Last night the group was in New York City at the Bowery Ballroom and announced a two night New Year’s Eve event that will take place in the City.

The Royal Family New Year’s Ball is set for December 30 and 31 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg. Both evenings will feature music from Soulive and Lettuce with Break Science
also on the bill for the 30th, while Nigel Hall
will appear on the 31st (which is pledged to be a late night, with a bonus Lettuce set and more). In addition, the band exhorts, “Wear your ties and dresses folks, because fans who dress for the occasion will receive a free download of the show!” The presale begins Wednesday October 21 at noon with VIP tickets also offering a “a special VIP viewing area, a signed poster, a ‘Rager’ laminate, a meet and greet with the Royal Family artists, a download of the show and, on NYE. a midnight champagne toast.”
