As previously reported, Donna Jean Godchaux Band guitarist Jeff Mattson will play guitar with Dark Star Orchestra next month while John Kadlecik focuses on Furthur. Dark Star Orchestra has now also confirmed that Mattson will fill in for Kadlecik on the band’s New Year’s run. The four-night jaunt will kick off in Norfolk, VA on December 28 and come to a close with an appearance at Baltimore, MD’s Ram’s Head Live on December 31. Donna Jean Godchaux Band featuring Jeff Mattson will open from December 28-39.
