Singer/songwriter Brett Dennen and New York based Brazilian fusionists Forro in the Dark have released a new studio recording. The collaborative Live Session EP features new Brazilian-flavored versions of songs off Dennen’s 2007 album Hope for the Hopeless, as well as a new track called “Joan of Arc.” Forro in the Dark has previously recorded with Steve Earle, David Byrne, The Brazilian Girls, and recently Thom Yorke. The EP also features Jason Mraz on “Long Road to Forgiveness.” Dennen will appear on Last Call with Carson Daly on November 23rd. His tour with Grace Potter will kick off in Nashville, TN on November 13.
