Animal Collective’s previously confirmed Grateful Dead sample will appear on the new EP Fall Be Kind. The sample, which references “Unbroken Chain,” is part of the recent live staple “What Would I Want? Sky.” The EP will also include “Graze,” “Bleed,”
“On a Highway” and “I Think I Can.” All five songs were recorded by Ben Allen either at Sweet Tea in Oxford, MS in February 2008 or at Mission Sound in Brooklyn, NY in August, 2009. Animal Collective are set to release the new EP on November 23 (digitally) and December 15 (physically). Please click here to read an interview with the band about the Grateful Dead.
