Woodstock-area guitarist Jim Weider is best known as a latter day member of The Band and one of the guitarists in Levon Helm’s current band. In addition, he also fronts his own Project Percolator and recently released the album Pulse. This Friday Weider also welcomed Steve Kimock Crazy Engine to Woodstock’s Bearsville Theater. Weider emerged at the end of Kimock’s first set for “Baby Baby” and “Three More Days.” He later retuned at the end of the night for “That’s What Love Will Make You D,” “Crazy Engine” and “Brother Mike.” Weirder will perform next at Pawling, NY’s Towne Crier Café on November 13, while Kimock will appear at Carrboro, NC’s Center for the Arts on November 11.
