The third studio recording from U-Melt is now set for a 2010 release via Harmonized Records. Perfect World, which will hit on February 23, offers ten songs that the group has developed in the live setting. Along with the title track, other songs include “Elysian Fields,” “Pura Vida,” “Panacea” and “Question Matters.” The group will support the disc with a national tour and in preparation will remain off the road for the coming weeks, with its final gig of the year a late night post-Phish show on December 4 at New York City’s Sullivan Hall in New York City.

I think this next CD will seal the deal for U-Melt. Question Matters is such a fantastic song, sounds so great live, I assume it’ll be given the proper treatment in the studio. I’m hoping Momentary Lumenaries will make it on the CD, too.
