Furthur to Open the Odeum

Furthur will officially open Broomfield, CO’s newest venue, the Odeum, this spring. The group, which features Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, Joe Russo, Jay Lane, Jeff Chimenti and John Kadlecik, will headline the room on March 5 and 6, 2010. As previously reported, Furthur’s 2010 tour will kick off at Miami, FL’s Bayfront Park Amphitheatre on February 5. The group will also play a series of Northeast 2009 shows, beginning with an appearance at New York’s Hammerstein Ballroom on December 8.

The Odeum is located between Boulder and Denver, CO. Photos of the room will be posted on the venue’s page in the coming weeks.

Its a good room. A mini arena with every seat close to stage. Odeum has full bowl seating. Sounded good at BEC (Odeum) for Bonnie Raitt show. What Denver venues? Fillmore is a pain all around. All they did there was move the Mammoth Garden stage over to the north end and changed the name to The fillmore. Fillmore has no parking either. Much easier to take a piss at the Odeum too. Location is great….halfway between Boulder and Denver.
