Jack Johnson, Jeff Beck, Galactic, G. Love, John Butler Trio and ALO are among the acts scheduled to appear at Australia’s Byron Bay Bluesfest. The multi-day event will take place from April 1-5, 2010, also featuring appearances from Dr John and the Lower 911, Matt Costa, Neil Halstead, Zee Avi and Ozomatli. Other acts confirmed to appear include: The Fray, Crowded House, Jools Holland & His Rhythm and Blues Orchestra, Buddy Guy, The Swell Season, Rodriguez, Matisyahu, Lyle Lovett, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club, John Mayall, Newton Faulkner, Donavon Frankenreiter, Béla Fleck’s African Project featuring Oumou Sangaré, The Flatlanders, The Greencards, Old Crow Medicine Show, Justin Townes Earle and Avett Brothers. With the exception of a few benefit shows in Hawaii, this show is Johnson’s first appearance in over a year.
