San Francisco’s Sea of Dreams

The annual Sea of Dreams New Year’s Eve extravaganza will return to San Francisco’s Concourse Exhibition Center. Though the event was once associated with String Cheese Incident, the Sea of Dreams has hosted a number of bands since the start of SCI’s hiatus. Ozomatli will headline this year’s festivities as part of a bill that also includes Bassnectar, Ghostland Observatory, The Yard Dogs Road Show, The Glitch Mob, EOTO, Sila & The Afrofunk Experience LYNX & Janover, Motion Potion and a number of other performers.

The multi-media event will also host representatives from The Do LaB—a cast of creatives ranging from artists, event producers, lighting designers, djs, constructors, welders, costumers, musicians and performers—and the Burning Man-influenced Hookadome. A number of dancers, acrobatics, DJs, hoopers, spinners, musical clowns, jugglers, stilters and other colorful performers will be onsite throughout the night.

Sea of Dreams is Anon Salon’s annual NYE party in SF, (Anon Salon is the group behind Burning Man) and has been around for years before SCI headlined it & brought it to the Concourse. Previously, STS9 headlined it for 2 years in a row a few years before the Cheese took over. The Concourse is a GREAT place to party on NYE, 2 mainstages that run music concurrently (the place is huge) with tons of vendors, art, food & drinks,- this place is one giant San Francisco Drug Party. Yeah!
