Last month Rustic Overtones released their fifth studio recording, The New Way Out. This was the band’s first album of all new songs in over eight years and features six of the group’s original members (keyboard player Spencer Albee has moved on). Rustic Overtones has performed only a limited number of shows in support of the disc but this coming weekend the band will depart its Portland, ME homebase for a gig in New York. The group will appear at Brooklyn Bowl, this Sunday the 20th for a holiday party that is set to take place from 8-11PM.
