Phil Lesh, Bob Weir and Jackie Greene performed together at San Francisco’s Tenderloin School yesterday as part of the holiday-themed Philharmonia. The event benefited the Unbroken Chain Foundation’s efforts to help the Bay Area Women’s & Children’s Center and featured a stripped down, largely acoustic performance by the musicians—who were joined by singers Sunshine Garcia Becker and Zoe Ellis.

The musicians ran through a number of Grateful Dead staples, including a show opening “Scarlet Begonias,” “Franklin’s Tower,” ”Sugaree,” “Bird Song” and “Cassidy,” along others. Greene also dipped into his solo repertoire, including “Gone Wonderin’.” At the end of the night Lesh led the crowd through sing-along versions of holiday songs like “Jingle Bells,” “We Wish You a Merry Christmas,” “The Twelve Days of Christmas” and “Amazing Grace.”
