State Radio opened for Toubab Krewe on December 30 and 31 at Asheville, NC’s Orange Peel. Area-heroes Toubab Krewe headlined both shows and brought out all three members of State Radio during its set on New Year’s Eve for a cover of Neil Young’s “Rockin’ In The Free World.” In addition, Uncle Earl fiddler Rayna Gellert sat in with Toubab Krewe at various points throughout the night. The band’s final set ended with all the members of Toubab Krewe parading into the audience on percussive instruments.
