As we’ve reported, moe. will kick off its 20th anniversary year with two shows at New York City’s Roseland Ballroom on January 22 and 23. The first date will serve as a benefit for World Hunger Year (WHY). The band has already announced that Butch Trucks, Jeff Austin and Marco Benevento will perform with moe that night. David Sanborn is the latest addition to the roster of guests, with additional players still to be announced.
As one final reminder to moe. fans in the South, Live Nation will waive all service fees for tickets purchased today (and only today) to the group’s March 12 and 13 appearances at Atlanta’s Tabernacle. Perpetual Groove will open the show on the 12th and Cornmeal will do so on the 13th.
