Grace Potter and The Nocturnals will make its debut appearance at the Sundance Film Festival on January 28 and 29. The band is scheduled to perform in the Sundance ASCAP Music Café and pledges to preview select songs from its self-titled album, which is due this spring. The band will perform at 5:20 PM on January 28 and 4 PM on January 29.

“This record is the first time it’s really been us — the first time we’ve all found each other and ourselves,” Potter said in a statement. “The whole thing was fluid and effortless. In my mind, an album shouldn’t be self-titled unless it feels that way.”

The album was produced by Mark Batson and features the current Nocturnals lineup: Potter, lead guitarist Scott Tournet, drummer Matt Burr, bassist Catherine Popper (Ryan Adams & the Cardinals, Hem) and rhythm guitarist Benny Yurco.
