UK-based DJ/Producer Simon Posford will return to the U.S. this spring to perform the music of his Shpongle project. Posford and his partner Raja Ram recently released the new Shpongle album Ineffable Mysteries from Shpongleland, the project’s fist since 2005. As of late, Posford has focused on a variety of projects, including the Younger Brother live band that includes Disco Biscuits bassist Marc Brownstein, drummer Joe Russo and Brothers Past guitarist Tom Hamilton.

For portions of Shpongle’s upcoming tour the band will be accompanied by a fellow Twisted Records alumni Prometheus (Benji Vaughan, who, together with Posford constitute the group, Younger Brother), world-renowned digital media artist, VJ Zebbler and ArcheDream for HUMANKIND, an international theater company that “merges ancient ritual with modern technology to unite, uplift and empower.”
