Jack Johnson will release his sixth studio album the week of June 1 through his Brushfire records. The singer/songwriter recorded the album in his Mango Tree Studio with his longtime band: Adam Topol, Merlo Podlewski and Zach Gill (ALO.) The musicians have also confirmed an extensive tour—Johnson’s first since 2008. In addition, Johnson will host his Earth Day Kokua Festival on April 23 and 24 at the Waikiki Shell in Honolulu, Hawaii. Ziggy Marley (solo acoustic), Taj Mahal, Jake Shimabukuro and Anuhea are among the acts scheduled to join Johnson at the two-day event.
