Friday night three interconnected bands—The Mother Hips, Dave Brogan Band and Big Light—performed together at Petaluma, CA’s Mystic Theater. During Brogan’s set, Mother Hips frontman Tim Bluhm sat in on “Pemberton Steps” (Bluhm co-produced the ALO drummer’s recent solo album and plays guitar on the studio version of the song). In addition, Mother Hips bassist Paul Hoaglin played guitar with Brogan on “Casey” and bass on “Infinite Eye.” The latter song also featured Mother Hips guitarist Greg Loincano. ALO will play a free in-store show at Long Beach, CA’s Fingerprints this evening.
