Gov’t Mule, Les Claypool, Greyboy Allstars and More Set for Superfly During Jazzfest

The Mahalia Jackson Theatre

The initial lineup for the Superfly During Jazzfest Concert Series has been confirmed. After a year off, Gov’t Mule will continue its decade-plus tradition of late-night shows. The band will perform at New Orleans’ gorgeous Mahalia Jackson Theatre on Friday, April 30. The band explains, “As the first theatre to reopen since Hurricane Katrina, The Mahalia Jackson recalls the vibe, beauty and spirit of The Saenger Theatre and The Orpheum, two of the band’s (and fans’) favorite venues and sites of truly memorable shows.” 7 Walkers Featuring Bill Kreutzmann & Papa Mali will open the show.

In addition, Galactic, Les Claypool, North Mississippi Allstars and Greyboy Allstars will all perform aboard the Riverboat Creole Queen. Kirk Joseph’s 504 Brass Band will open each riverboat show.
