San Francisco’s Great American Music Hall will host a Rex Foundation benefit Thursday. February 18. The Make-Believe Ball will center around the Grateful Dead’s August 15, 1975 performance at the Bay Area venue. The show—which was released as One From the Vault —will be played through the venue’s soundsystem along with a “21st century digital light show.” A silent auction featuring unique items, including rare Herb Greene photographs and Silver Oak Cellars 2005 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon magnums etched with Rex labels just for this occasion, will also take place.
