John Butler Trio has confirmed a series of spring dates in support of his new album April Uprising. Most of the guitarist’s upcoming appearances will be co-bills with State Radio. Medeski, Martin & Wood will support the groups at Red Rocks as well. Butler has also confirmed an appearance at Bonnaroo on June 13 (he previously appeared at the festival in 2002, 2005 and 2007).

This incarnation of JBT includes drummer Nicky Bomba and bassist Byron Luiters. “Nicky, Byron and I are really excited about this next North American tour,” Butler said in a statement. “Hooking up with Chad and the State Radio crew is something we have wanted to do for a long time.
