Eric Krasno, Adam Deitch and Nate Wilson Sit in with Umphrey’s McGee, Soulive to Start Brooklyn Bowl Run This Evening

Umphrey’s McGee headlined Boston’s House of Blues this past Friday. Eric Krasno & Chapter 2 opened the show and, during Umphrey’s McGee’s first set, Lettuce/Chapter 2 drummer Adam Deitch emerged for “In the Kitchen.” Soon after, New England-based keyboardist Nate Wilson took the stage for a set-closing run through “Push the Pig.” Chapter 2 opened for Umphrey’s the following night at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory and Eric Krasno took over for guitarist Brendan Bayliss on “Pay the Snucka.” Chapter 2 keybaordist Nigel Hall also joined Joel Cummins for the song.
Umphrey’s McGee will perform at Syracuse, NY’s The Westcott Theater tomorrow, while Krasno will begin his residency with Soulive at Brooklyn, NY’s Brooklyn Bowl this evening with special guest Vernon Reid (Living Colour).
