Bonnaroo has confirmed another round of performers. Though the festival’s initial lineup swayed away from its original core jamband following, four the festival’s new additions are veterans of the inaugural Bonnaroo: Ween, Galactic, Umphrey’s McGee and John Butler Trio. In addition, Bonnaroo has confirmed both The Gossip and Circa Survive.

In many ways, Umphrey’s McGee’s early appearances helped introduce the Chicago-based band to a national audience; the group is one of the few bands to play the festival for three consecutive years, having appeared in 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2008. Galactic has also been with Bonnaroo since its inception and is managed by festival co-promoters Superfly. The band played at Bonnaroo from 2002-2005 and again in 2007 and 2009. In 2008 the group made a surprise appearance as rapper Chali 2na’s backing band. Ween performed at Bonnaroo in 2002, 2004 and 2007, while John Butler Trio appeared at the festival in 2002, 2005 and 2007.

Bonnaroo will return to Manchester, TN from June 10-13. Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon, Stevie Wonder, Jay-Z, The Flaming Lips, the Dead Weather, Blues Traveler, The National and Phoenix are among the other bands already scheduled to appear at the four-day event.
