Phish to Cover the Rolling Stones on Jimmy Fallon
Phish will appear on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for the first time on May 13. The group will perform a song off the Rolling Stones’ Exile on Main Street as part of a special week on the program (each night a different artist will cover one of the album’s tracks). The episode is Phish’s first televised late-night appearance since 2004.
Phish has played a number of Exile on Main Street songs since covering the entire album on Halloween. Those songs include: “Shine a Light,” “Sweet Virginia,” “Torn and Frayed” and “Loving Cup,” the latter of which the band has played regularly since 1993.
