Locals waiting for Phish tickets in Telluride

Marco Benevento Trio will perform at Telluride’s Fly Me to the Moon Saloon from August 8-10. The gigs are timed with Phish’s shows in Telluride, CO this August. The Fly Me to the Moon Saloon hosted some of Phish’s first shows outside the East Coast in 1988. Benevento first played Telluride and the Fly Me to the Moon in 2001, during his first tour outside New York with Joe Russo. The keyboardist has performed with all four members of Phish over the years. He also toured with Mike Gordon on several occasions and with Gordon and Trey Anastasio as part of G.R.A.B. in 2006. In addition, Jon Fishman played in Benevento’s trio in 2008.
