Shortly after announcing his retirement from the road in December, Dickey Betts has confirmed a few additional shows. Betts and his band Great Southern will play three shows in the Northeast this July. The former Allman Brothers Band member’s original retirement message read: “I’m not retiring from playing. I’m sure there will be some great special events that I’ll be at in the future. But for now, I look forward to waking up tomorrow with nothing on my schedule.” The guitarist also recently played a benefit concert in his Florida hometown.
