England’s Glastonbury Festival has confirmed its final 2010 line-up. The event, which takes place on Worthy Farm six miles east of Glastonbury proper, debuted in September 1970. Over 300 acts will participate in this year’s event, with music from June 25-27. Headlining acts on the main Pyramid Stage include: U2, Stevie Wonder, Muse, Vampire Weekend, Jack Johnson, Femi Kuti, Willie Nelson, Scissor Sisters, Norah Jones and Snoop Dogg. The Other Stage will see such groups as The Flaming Lips, MGMT, Pet Shop Boys, The National, Orbital, LCD Soundsystem and The Hold Steady. The John Peel Stage will host Groove Armada, The Black Keys, Tegan and Sara, Broken Social Scene, Gang of Four, Ash, Julian Casablancas and many others. Jackson Browne with David Lindley, Richard Thompson, George Clinton with Parliament / Funkadelic, Mos Def (with full live band), Femi Kuti are among the musicians at the nine other performance spaces.
