The Black Crowes will perform their first show of 2010 next weekend at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. While the band has not been gigging out, it has been working on an new studio record. The Crowes report, “We just finished a new 20+ song set of Crowes’ catalogue recorded acoustically with the full band and a few other friends. We’re very excited about the session and feel it represents where we’ve been, who we are, and where we’re going.” No other details have been announced as yet. Following their appearance at Jazz Fest on Friday the 23rd, the group will perform the next night at the Celebrity Station Amphitheatre in Cottonwood, AL.
