Plants & Animals performed at Montreal, QC’s La Tulipe Thursday night. Opening the night was The Barr Brothers, the new group featuring the Slip’s Andrew and Brad Barr alongside harpist Sarah Page and multi-instrumentalist Andy Vial. During Plants & Animal’s set, Andrew Barr emerged to play percussion on “Fake It,” and Brad Barr added guitar on “Game Shows.” “Brad used to have an apartment under mine [in Montreal] and I had to ‘suffer’ through his music all night,” Plants & Animal’s Warren C. Spicer jokes. Brad Barr also appear on Plants & Animal’s new release La La Band.
