Bay Area-based Big Light has confirmed a national tour that will kick off later this month. The group, which released Animals In Bloom earlier this year, will head out to Illinois over Memorial Day weekend, performing at Summer Camp and then at Chicago’s Beat Kitchen. June will then see the group on both coasts from Berkeley, CA to Boston, MA, on bills with such artists as: Nathan Moore, Holly Golightly and Wendy Darling. Last week, Relix.com republished its 2008 On The Verge piece on the group, “Big Light: North of Indie, South of Jam.”
