Photographer Jay Blakesberg shot moe. onstage for the cover of Relix Sunday afternoon at Chillicothe, IL’s Summer Camp this weekend. The members of the band moved to the front of the stage after their first set and turned their backs to the crowd to take the shot, which is slated for the cover of our August issue. The multi-day festival came to a close Sunday night.

moe. opened its final set of Summer Camp with a version of “Bearsong” that segued into “Timmy Tucker.” Like the other days of the festival, the members of moe. debuted a few new original songs: Chuck Garvey’s “One Life” and Al Schnier’s “Puebla.” Partway through the group’s first set, Dweezil Zappa emerged for “San Ber’dino.” The rest of the members of Zappa Plays Zappa then gradually replaced the members of moe. for a band switch that led into “Muffin Man.” During the band’s second set, String Cheese Incident’s Kyle Hollingsworth also sat in on for “Blue Jeans Pizza.”

A number of guests also took the stage with Umphrey’s McGee during its two sets Sunday. Steel Pedal guitarist Mike Rackey sat in with the group for “We’re Going to War” during the band’s afternoon set on the sunshine stage. Later in the night, Brainchild guitarist Roy Ponce joined the band for “Resolution” and The Macpodz keyboardist Jesse Clayton appeared on “Slacker” during the group’s late night Barn set. Umphrey’s McGee also debuted a full version of The Eagles’ “Seven Bridges Road” Sunday.
