The Mighty High Mountain Festival took place Memorial Day Weekend in Tuxedo, NY. The three-day event featured a mix of jam and roots acts, including Dark Star Orchestra, New Riders of the Purple Sage, the Felice Brothers and Peter Rowan. In addition, New Jersey’s From Good Homes played its only show since reuniting for three dates this past November. Rowan and the New Riders played back-to-back sets and collaborated on both Saturday and Sunday. Of particular note, Rowan and fiddler Tex Logan sat in with the New Riders on “Tex’s Diamond Joe.”
