David Rawlings is currently on tour in support of his new album A Friend of a Friend. In addition to his musical partner Gillian Welch, the multi-instrumentalist’s David Rawlings Machine features Ketch Secor, Willie Watson and Morgan Jahnig of Old Crow Medicine Show. For the past two nights at New York’s Bowery Ballroom, the Punch Brothers’ Gabe Witcher has sat for Watson, who is currently awaiting the birth of his new baby. Witcher has now confirmed that he will stay with the group for the rest of its June tour. Those dates include the following shows:

June 6 South Burlington, VT—Higher Ground

June 8 Washington, DC—9:30 Club

June 9 Charlottesville, VA—Jefferson Theater

June 10 Roanoke, VA—Jefferson Center

June 11 Bristol, TN—Paramount Center for the Arts Buy Tickets

June 12 Manchester, TN—Bonnaroo

Witcher will linkup with the rest of the Punch Brothers for two performances at Bonnaroo. The Punch Brothers’ tour will then continue at Highland Park, IL’s Ravinia on June 12.
