Umphrey’s McGee played two sets at Bonnaroo this past Friday. The first was a packed set on the festival’s massive Which Stage, and the second was a more intimate mini-performance on Bonnaroo’s Sonic Stage. On the Sonic Stage the group ran through “Walletsworth,” “Higgins” and a cover of Paul Simon’s “Graceland,” the latter of which featured Perpetual Groove’s Brock Butler on guitar and vocals.

This is the second year in a row that Butler has made a surprise appearance at Bonnaroo: the guitarist sat in with moe. at the festival last spring. Butler attended the very first Bonnaroo as a fan and played Bonnaroo with Perpetual Groove in 2005.
