On Sunday moe. made its way to Mountain Park in Holyoke, MA on a bill that also featured Martin Sexton as well as the Ryan Montbleau Band (which also backed Sexton during his 90 minute performance). Then moe. stepped out, opening its set with a version of “Happy Hour Hero” that segued into “Waiting For The Punchline.” A bit later the quintet closed out its first set with a version of “The Weight,” bringing out Martin Sexton and Ryan Montbleau to join the band on vocals (along with Yahuba Garcia on percussion). The second set later opened with a strong run from “Spine Of A Dog” into “Haze” and concluded with a passage that moved from “Tubing The River Styx” into “The Pit” with moe.’s Al Schnier on Wurlitzer before he returned to guitar for a set-closing “Plane Crash.”

Tonight moe. is performing a sold-out show at the Saranac lake Waterhole.
