Next Friday, July 23, Rage Against The Machine will perform its first Los Angeles concert in a decade. The band will appear in its home city as part of a national protest against Arizona Senate Bill 1070. This bill makes the failure to carry immigration documents a crime and increases the ability of the police to detain anyone suspected of being a illegal alien. The show will take place at the Hollywood Palladium with Conor Oberst & The Mystic Valley Band opening the night. Proceeds will go to those organizations seeking to help challenge and/or overturn the law. This part of a week of projected protest, with additional details at Altoarizona.com
