Tea Leaf Green performed at Toronto, ON’s The Great Hall this past Friday. Cornmeal was scheduled to open the show but canceled at the last minute due to vehicle mechanical issues. The members of Tea Leaf Green responded by treating fans to a special opening set under their Coffee Bean Brown acoustic alias. The musicians ran through a number of songs, including “Slip Away,” “Strange Ode to Nature,” “John Brown,” “Darkened Hall,” “Honey Bee,” “Flippin’ the Bird,” “Nothing Changes,” “7th Story” and “Living Honestly.”

Band friend Cochrane McMillan continued to augment drummer Scott Rager, who is currently suffering from a sprained ankle. Rager appears to be covering and returned to a fill drum kit a few times throughout the night, including on “Darkened Hall,” “Honey Bee” and “Flippin’ the Bir” first set and “Las Vegas” Second set.
