Tea Leaf Green and Cornmeal Share the Stage During Hookah Weekend

ekoostik hookah hosted its Summer Hookah Weekend at Nelson Ledges Quarry Park, Garrettsville, OH this past weekend. In addition to the festival’s host, the weekend featured performances by Cornmeal, Tea Leaf Green, Zach Deputy, The Juggling Suns, Psychadelphia, If These Trees Could Talk, Kim Manning and Bob Niederitter Quartet, among others. During Tea Leaf Green’s set, several members of Cornmeal took the stage with the band: Allie Kral played fiddle on “Drink of Streams,” Wavy Dave Burlingame played banjo on “Bouncin’ Betty” and Kris Nowak played guitar on a cover of Shel Silverstein’s “Stoned and I Missed It.” Tea Leaf Green and Cornmeal will share the stage again when the two bands co-headline shows at Telluride, CO’s Sheridan Opera House on August 9 and 10.
