The Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville, New York is wrapping up its Sounds of Summer series. This documentary film series has focused on movies with rock, folk, soul and classical themes. On Thursday night, the Center will screen Wetlands Preserved: The Story of an Activist Rock Club at both 7:30 PM and 9:40 PM.

Wetlands Preserved, directed by site editor Dean Budnick, incorporates archival footage, soundboard recordings and the efforts of a dozen digital animators to chronicle the story of New York City nightclub Wetlands Preserve from February 1989 through September 2001. The documentary features music from Phish, Blues Traveler, moe., The Disco Biscuits, Dave Matthews Band, Sublime, Ben Harper, Spearhead, 311, Ani DiFranco, Robert Randolph & the Family Band, Spin Doctors, Fishbone, Agnostic Front and many additional artists.
